What would be the best next model after the HTC Wizard?

Using the Wizard for a while, I wonder what could be improved. What will my next mobile be.

To be honest; in the beginning, my Wizard was amazing and I was VERY carefull with it. But after twoo years of daily use, you can see that it is heavily used and misused. Yes, I admit that it once dropped in a warm bath tumb filled with water and it also dropped out of my pocket several times. The good news; it still works and the damage is minimal (only a few scratches on the cover).

Cingular Data - Smartphone vs. Pocket PC

I was once a authorized distributor for Cingular/At&t, Verizon, Sprint, Nextel, T-Mobile, and all prepaid carriers. After talking to some of my old colleagues, I've realized that you can use Cingular Smartphone data ($19.99 and includes 200 text messages) with your Cingular 8125 instead of using the Cingular Pocket PC data ($39.99). Many of my old colleagues have activated Wizards, since March, with the Smartphone data and without any issues.

I noticed a thread over on xda-developers that states an official 8125 AKU 2.3 ROM will be released on June 19th, I sure hope they are right.

Dying SIM on Cingular 2125/8100/8125/

I found an interesting topic on the XDA Developers Forum, mentioning problems with those devices described as SIM Burnout. Those problems are being solved with a new ROM update, that should be available on the HTC USA web site.

Sync PPC WM5 with a Mac

I just read an interesting solution on OSX Hints that worked for someone using GuestPC. I haven't tried it myself but for the courageous types with $70 beans to toss here's the link.

Stereo Bluetooth on your HTC Wizard

The AKU2 updates for the HTC Wizard were suposed to include A2DP, i.e. a stereo bluetooth profile. While the AKU2 ROMs were still being tested rumours leaked that HTC had problems with compatibility and stability and that A2DP would be pushed back to a later ROM update. When I-Mate was the first to release its AKU2 ROM for the K-Jam the rumours turned out to have become reality, no stereo Bluetooth.
