New Router

I installed a new router Dlink Dir 625. I cannot get my HTC 8125 to connect to the internet. THe 8125 said it was connected but the error was the connection was lost check connection and try again. I turned off WEP and now it won't connect at all?? I removed the old setting and let it discover the new connection it didn't ask for a key so I assume it is completly lost.
Not sure about the HTC settings I could use some help.

HTC 8125

First off, I just purchased an HTC 8125 (the phone for at&t and cingular). It is also unlocked for TMobile. My service is through TMobile and everything seems to work fine except for my contacts not loading, and the thing I would rather have work more, the internet is not working. I have internet in my cellphone plan, but when I try connecting to the internet I get a message saying

Cannot Connect

I have a problem managing multiple connection automatically with my HTC TyTN II (WM 6) device. I would like it to connect automatically to Internet, and private WAP pages, and furthermore ActiveSync to sync with our company Exchange server.

connecting to the internet with a HTC Touch

Hello,

I recently got a HTC Touch phone and I just bought a wireless router so that I could access the internet from my phone. I had set up the router with its name and password, but when I go through the same process from my phone, after adding the name and password, it says that this access is unavailable. I'm thinking its a problem with the phone because I can access my router from my PSP and the other computers.

Problems with SSL and Windows Mobile 6.0 HTC 710

Hi,

I have a problem I just cant figure out :(
We use a pushmail system called Dynamic Mobile Exchange (DME) which is Linux based. To add another layer of security we use a service from our ISP called Mobile Data Access (MDA). This service creates a IPSEC tunnel between the HTC and the DME server.
The DME server has a certificate issued by Excitor (not a public trusted CA) and when the mobile devices connect to the server they use HTTPS and this certificate to get synchronized. This works perfectly with Nokia telephones (I use Nokia E50 for testing). When I try to synchronize with the HTC device, there is no response from the server. Since we use VPN tunnelig between the accesspoint for the devices and the DME server, we cant use public internet services like DNS. Our DME server has a private IP-adress and the HTC and Nokia's get DHCP adresses in the same network when they enter the IPSEC tunnel. We have used wireshark to see if the traffic from the HTC reaches the server, and it does. I now begin to wonder if this is a certificate handling problem in the HTC's, since the Nokia's work fine. The certificate issued by Excitor is issued on the private ip-adress of the DME server.

Pocket IE doesn't work after installing Opera Mobile - error 0x80072f78

I foolishly installed Opera Mobile on my 8525 (it's upgraded to WM6), and now Pocket IE can't open any webpages when connected over ActiveSync. When I'm on WiFi, it works fine, but not over ActiveSync. I tried several PC's thinking my ActiveSync got messed up - but still no luck. Every time PocketIE start up, it times out and gives "The page you are looking for cannot be found due to unknown error 0x80072f78". Meanwhile, Opera and Yahoo to go connects and opens web pages just fine.

P4300 and Fido (Working!)

I recently bought a P4300 and Attempted to get it working on Fido's Network. Needless to say Fido was not much help other then telling me to use the same information that is already posted on the Net (But does not work with the P4300!!)

After hours of wasting time with Fido (and the Fido CSR, telling me I'm out of luck, and to take a hike), I managed to get it working with the help of HTC Support (Local in Toronto too!!)

Connected to 'net but no IE or Opera. Huh?

Ok, so I got my 8125 from eBay last week. Loving it so far. Until last night. All of a sudden, Internet Explorer is telling me it cannot find pages. I think maybe it isn't finding a connection, but my WiFi is finding my LAN for an access point. So I fire up Total Commander - I can browse my LAN, and I can FTP to my website. But no IE.

I had uninstalled Opera earlier in the day, because it was taking up space in main memory (I installed it there before I got the miniSD card). I thought maybe that messed something up, so I hooked up via ActiveSync and downloaded the Opera CAB, then installed it on the storage card. Now Opera is telling me it can't open pages because it "could not find proxy server".
