Screen Blacking out

I recently got a 8125 from a friend of mine and every time i try to put it in my pocket or my belt clip the screen wont come back on... the status light is still flashing but nothing on the screen...i try hitting the power button and everything but the only way to get it back on is to take out the battery and then it resets my date and time... i just got a new battery for it... can anyone tell me why this happening..

I just started using an 8125 (used to have a blue angel sx-66) and one thing I liked is that when I pressed the power button on the blue angel, it stayed off even if I got some notification like a text message. I am finding with the 8125 that if I hit the power button to put it into standby, and I get a text message, the phone turns on. I would really like it if it stayed in the standby mode and just beeped at me like the sx-66 did.

Hi guys.

I have searched for a past discussion on my problem in this forum but to no avail.

I have a windows mobile device and recently set it up to receive work email. And it seems to be working fine. However today i set up a POP email account and this account just does not work at all. The same POP account works in outlook express, so the account is fine. I copied the settings letter for letter to the windows mobile device.

Tiny Virtual Screen??

For a number of applications and most pop-ups the font size has been turned to unreadable small (2 points?) and I have no idea, how this happened or to which event this might be related.

Now I found, that certain applications only use a fraction (50x60 pixels) of the real screen size,
so the reason for the small fonts could also be, that some how some parts of the system seem to assume that small screen size and are just scaling down everything.

There has to be an easier way to backup

I'm tired of ActiveSync, and the fact that it doesn't work for me. I've tried all of the remedies out there, such sa re-installing Outlook, deleting and re-creating partnerships, and it's really annoying me.

Surely there's a better/easier way. Does anyone have one?

Call log stops logging calls

I have a Cingular 8125 that stops logging calls almost once a week. Sometimes after a few hours, it will start again. Other times I must perform a hard reset, which is a pain since I must reload all applications and set up the phone again. AT&T tech support is clueless, and always says to perform a hard reset. Anyone have any clues as to what causes this?
