Has my 8125 crashed, or does it have a fried battery?

I recently had my Cingular 8125 freeze up to the point where I couldn't even do a soft reset, so I took out the battery. When I tried to boot it again, I got to the Cingular screen, it loaded the ROM data, but then the backlight shut off and the screen then slowly faded. However, the two led's on the top still blinked. One green and the other blue. The only ways I could get the screen to turn on again were by pressing the soft reset button or taking out the battery and turning it on again.

trouble w/ 4gb storage card

hey all--i'm hoping someone might have some insight for me. i purchased a 4gb mini sd (not high capacity) storage card and it's only half working. when i put it into my tmo mda the device reads it, shows the correct amount of available memory, and allows me to copy and paste files onto it. however, i can only seem to open picture files that have been placed on the card. when i try to open a music or video file from the card TCPMP plays for a few seconds and then completely freezes (have also tried playing the same media in WMP).

8125 Putting it all together

Hello All,

I'm new to the PocketPC phones, since March 2007. After receiving the 8125 from Cingular, with in a couple of days I noticed the phone has some peculiar properties and traits. On-line I went collecting as much information I could. Some very useful, some that is just good to know and some that is down right wrong or unnecessary. This phone has realy peaked my interest because of the similarities it has compared to a desktop or laptop IBM based PC. I've been registry hacking and tweaking since Windows 95 emerged and a substantial amount of properties can be applied to a WM5 PocketPC.

Hello All,

I'v been struggling with my Qtek 9100 and the error "missing or invalid SIM." At first I thought it was a hardware problem and that the SIM card holder needed to be replaced. Been there Done that, still no luck. Now I'm starting to think it may be a software problem. Is the phone locked? Do I need to install any new updates? Any help would be appreciated.

Sound Profiles

Hi everyone. First of all let me say what a great site this is. Really alot of useful info. Now here is a question. Has anyone heard of a program that will let me create sound profiles? An example: I use to have a Sidekick III, and I could set it to go to vibrate when i started work, it was set and i didn't have to remember to set it everyday. Anyone hear of something like this for the wizard?
