Hi -- I have a Mac (MacBook Pro) and a Wizard, and I want them to talk to each other. Am I alone in this?

I never used a site like this before, so I hope this entry ends up in the right location - my apologies if not.

I have used various PALM OS devices for about five years and had a great program (DateBook5) for tracking daily events and to do items which could all be shown on one page. I recently bought an MDA off ebay because it looked like a great way to consolidate a pda and a phone. I had 5 years of events and to do items synchronized with Outlook. Outlook calls "to do" items "tasks" and I have over 1500 of them over the years. But in DateBook5 I never had to look at the whole list, they were each tagged to a specific date (which is very usefull for many reasons). When I sync'd 1500+ tasks into the MDA and try to open the tasks menu, it now takes 41 seconds to open that program. In my mind a program that locks up your device for that long is pretty useless. Is there any good software that allows you to see your daily schedule and tasks on one page and loads fast?

Hello All! Great Forum for sharing information. Here is what I have (and please forgive me in advance...I have searched forums and not found the answer)

I have installed the latest Cingular ROM from the HTC site. The unit will lock up occasionally, and when I go to use a soft reset, the 8125 will lock at the Windows Mobile splash screen making the touch screen inoperative. The device, I believe, is working in the background and I CAN receive calls. But all hard buttons and touchscreen are not functioning. I cannot flash the ROM with one of the customized ROMs (although I wish I could) or Unlock due to the phone actually belonging to my employer.

hi, i was thinking of getting my wizard to work as my mp3 palyer in my car. how can i connect it to my car audio. i have got only cd player so casette adapter is no go. i would prefer a wired solution , no more BT :) any ideas of doing this ?

and i am also looking for a mini usb cable extender..anybody knows where i can get one ??
