Ever since its launch on April 1st, the HTC Wizard Web has been running ads to cover the costs of hosting. Since the launch, the HTC Wizard Web has seen its community grow to 5000+ members and the number of daily visitors has grown to 3000+. As a result, the revenue from ads is now exceeding the hosting costs. Time to give back to the community!

The HTC Wizard has been available for about 9 months now. Around the time of the release several sites wrote reviews of the HTC Wizard. Those reviews still rank high in search engine results, but are not accurate anymore. Since the HTC Wizards release, ROMs have been updated and software that offers extra functionality has been released. Todays review of the HTC Wizard will be very different from reviews that were written around the time of the release of the HTC Wizard, at least in terms of functionality and usability. Unfortunately, nobody writes a review 9 months after a device has been released. Or...?

Here at the HTC Wizard Web we are going to have a Review Contest, so people can read how developments in the last 9 months affected functionality and usability of the HTC Wizard. Here is what you'll have to do to compete:

• Have a look at some of the old reviews, so you'll get an idea of what peoples verdict of the HTC Wizard was at that time.
• Write your own review, in which you describe what your verdict of the HTC Wizard in todays situation (with new ROMs being available and new software being available)is.
• Post the review on your own blog here on the HTC Wizard Web in the Review Contest categorie
• Read the reviews that other HTC Wizard Web members posted in the Review Contest category, and scrore them using the score this entry link at the bottom of the entries. HTC Wizard Web members who don't enter the contest can vote as well.
• Wait patiently for the contest to end, you could be one of the winners!

I still need to have a look at what the prizes are going to be, but you'll have to think in terms of for example MiniSD cards, cases etc. There will be at least 3 prizes, more information will follow.

The review with the highest average score wins, if two or more entries have equal average scores the entry that received most votes wins. Your review has to be published on the HTC Wizard Web before September 1st (i.e., final date is August 31st), and scoring will be possible untill September 10th. A review needs a minimum of 5 scores, every member can only score each entry once, and once a member scores an entry that score cannot be changed.
