The HTC Wizard Web has been up since April 1st. Since then, over 3200 visitors subscribed for membership. The number of daily visitors varies from 2500 in the weekend to up to 3500 on weekdays, and many blog- and forum posts have been made. You may have noticed that a graph showing visitor statistics from Performancing Metrics (re-)appeared in the sidebar. There is a reason for that.

Since about three weeks the amount of visitors and other statistics are (again, I used Metrics before) being tracked using Performancing Metrics. This rather new tracking system was built by the people at Performancing, the same people that built the infamous Performancing for Firefox.

Performancing Metrics has been available for some months now, and Performancing are almost ready to publish ranking charts of all the sites that are being tracked through Performancing Metrics. Today they published a list of the Top 20 sites tracked by Perfromancing Metrics. And guess what? The HTC Wizard Web ranks #7, just above the Performancing web site itself.

I should mention that only sites are ranked that allow public stats. However, on the Performancing Metrics public summary for www.htcwizardweb.net ranking for the HTC Wizard Web including sites that do not allow public stats shows that the HTC Wizard Web is ranked #34 today, and #30 yesterday. Not bad, considering that Performancing Metrics is currently tracking over 10.000 sites.

I am thrilled to see this. First of all because it is nice to see a link to the HTC Wizard Web on the Performancing front page. Second because the community concept behind the Performancing web site was a main inspirator for the way I set up the HTC Wizard Web. And third, of course, because this ranking shows that we all are part of a community to be proud of. Well done everyone!
