One boy and one girl were lovers since they were little children.They grew up and played together.They even promised each other to get married when they were adults.

One day, the boy and the girl went shopping hand in hand. When they were passing the entrance to a tiffany jewellery shop with so many Tiffany Necklaces, Tiffany Bracelets, Tiffany Earrings and Tiffany Rings, the girl saw a heart-shaped golden Tiffany Necklace in a glass case. The girl stared at it and imaged in her brain that how beautiful she would be if she wore this necklace.The boy also thought that this necklace would make her so beautiful because her neck is so white.


The boy noticed the girl were reluctant to leave then he touched his wallet with blush on his face because he was so poor to afford this necklace. He said nothing but pulled away the girl. This matter became a worry for the boy because he loved the girl so much that he wanted to try his best to satisfy the girl and make her happy.

A few months later, The girl’s 20-years-old birthday was coming. In the girl’s birthday party ,boys drank so much wine that dared to give the girl his gift. That is just the girls favorite heart-shaped golden necklace.

The girl was so pleased that she publicly kissed the boy's face. Actullay it was a big surprise for her because she never thought the boy would buy this necklace for her.


After a while, the boy was blushing, rubbing his hands and stammered, "However, this, this necklace is .... Copper not golden...." The boy's voice was small, but all the guests in the hall heard.


Girl's face flushed suddenly,she felt so ashamed and embarassed that she lost face in front of all her friends and relatives. She rubbed the necklace and put into her jeans pocket. Actually she was ready to wear it around her white and beautiful neck before the boy said that was a fake golden necklace.


"Come on,cheers!" The girl shouted and never looked at the boy once until the end of the party.The girl felt disappointed with the boy because he was poor although he loved her so much.She considered they won’t have a bright future without money.


Shortly afterwards, a rich man broke into the girl’s life.The man said that he had nothing except money. He could satisfy the girl’s every request if only money can do it.

When he was wearing gold ornaments to the girl’s neck, at the same time he also captured the girl’s heart of pursuing vanity. The girl felt this was the real happiness the she ever knew.All of her friends envied that she had such a rich boyfriend and though this man was better than her former boyfriend.


Soon they rented a house outside for cohabitation. The man was very obedient to the girl. The girl felt fortunate and glad that she made a right choice between the man and the boy. Only this man could offer her a happy future and life.


For the girl, that was really a period of happy life for her.


But things never lasted long, when the girl became pregnant, the man disappeared with another woman without leaving anothing to the girl. Once again, when the landlord urged her to pay for the rent, she had to walk into a pawnshop with all her golden ornaments that the man gave her. She put all of her jewelry in front of the shopkeeper.


The shopkeeper squinted and laughed,"Why do you bring so many gold-plated jewelry here?"


The girl felt shocked suddenly and said nothing. Then the shopkeeper dug the pile of jewelry and found the heart-shaped necklace and said, "ah, this is a real golden necklace and worths some money."


The girl look at the necklace with amazement. This was just the fake golden necklace that was sent by the boy.


The shopkeeper was playing the heart-shaped necklace and asked,"Hey, how much money do you want to sell it?"

Suddenly the girl grabbed the necklace and left ... ...

At last, the girl realized that the most precious love she ever owned was the boy’s love.While she was so unmature that she even didn’t cherish it but let it go. Only when she lost everything she began to know.However,it is too late for her go back to the boy.
