Battery Pack Pro, Pocket Zen Phone, Magic Button

I tried out Battery Pack Pro for a few days. While all of the stuff on there looked cool, I started getting annoyed at the lady with a British voice letting me know that my "Memory Is Low" and so forth (I never found a way of disabling this). I also found myself having to do soft resets several times daily because the device would lock up and figured that this program was the problem. I uninstalled it and I haven't had to do a reset since. I can't seem to get it to work properly. I'm wondering if anyone has had a pleasant experience with this program or perhaps some tips on getting it to function properly.

I just installed Pocket Zen Phone this morning because I need something that will silent and enable sounds according to time/day. The user interface is somewhat easy to figure out without having to read the instructions. This is a great program if you want your ringer silenced while sleeping but need to have it come back on automatically.

I've also installed Magic Button and I don't know why I didn't install this earlier. This makes opening/closing programs much easier to manage. I originally installed Battery Pack Pro because I wanted something that would close out programs from the memory without having to click a bunch of times to get to the memory through Settings.

As a taskmanager, I can also recommend vBar. It's also free, and almost 4 times smaller. The close bottom will get a dual function. Tapping once minimizes the application, tapping and holding will close it. Left to the close botton, a task botton will appear. Tapping that will display a list of running applications, each with a close botton next to it. Hence, applications can be closed here without first putting them in the foreground. As a little bonus, you have to option to let the task list button be shown as a memory- & battery indicator. Very spiffy!

I used to have Magic Button before but after my ROM update to 2.26.20.2 I started using
http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/TaskMgr/

Works pretty well and has a small icon near the battey icon below.

What do they mean with "Not only Tap, Tap and Hold but also Horizontal Drag, Vertical Drag and Diagonal Drag are supported"?

Not entirely certain. I've just tried what seems logical for each of those movements, and none of them seem to do what they should. Hmm. I'll have a look at the website.

Nope, I can't find anything on the site - not even a support address to ask the question.

I tryed out all the others and I have to agree that program works the best! The Tap & Hold meas just that you tap the stylis down and hold for a moment, for Horizontal Drag, Vertical Drag and Diagonal Drag you tap & hold then "drag" in the direction you want (Horizontal, Vertical, or Diagonal) and it will exacute a command that you can change in the settings.

I love to lay in bed at night and look up at all the stars, and sometimes I just have to wonder... WHERE THE HELL DID MY CEILING GO?!?

I tried the others mentioned and they all slowed down the device and did not work properly. InClose works 100% and does not slow down the device. Don't waste your time with the others.

I've used Magic Button since the beginning of my getting my Wizard, almost 3 months, always worked great. I've never used the others, but Magic Button is great for me, simple, doesn't slow down my device much.
