keyboard removal

I was wondering if anyone had attempt to removed the keyboard of the wizard, making it..thinner! I never have use for it. I studied the service mannual> how to disembly the wizard, and thought it might be possible, but I haven't give it a try. Will the wizard still function if I were to removed the keyboard?

What about battery and sim?

How were you going to propose to power the device? If you remove the keyboard it removes the battery pack and sim...were you going to fabricate an addition to replace the missing keyboard section to house the battery and other needed components?
