I have the HTC DMA. Wi-Fi connects to open (public) networks and gives me access to the internet.

Here at home I get connectivity to the network but am not granted access to the Internet.

We have DSL and Verizon is our provider. Internet access requires a user name and password.

I have a linksys wireless router for my laptop wireless connection around the house.

So, my question is, what setting are required to also access the Internet with my Wizard handheld?

I'm sure learning this will be valuable to more people than just me.

I found the problem. I had not been "talking" to my router, so it was not recognized. As soon as the router was defined I was able to make the connection. So, though my laptop was actually connected wireless, I had been logging on by connecting to the dsl line as if I were hardwired.
