When you say that your personal information stayed the same, do you mean the "Owner Information"?

If so, check Start->Settings->System->About->Device ID

Check "Device Name" and "Device Description".

My bet is the "Device Name" is now WM_Alex.

If you've already looked there, then I apologize for this post.

Did you just check the settings in "Settings -> Personal -> Owner Information". Or did you also check "Settings -> System -> About -> Device ID"? That's the setting that was probably changed. I don't know exactly why that happens every now and again. However, that is where you must go to change your device name.

EDIT: Seems to me that someone else got to it first. This is the power of community based support ^_^
