Unable to sync large files, ActiveSync connection drops

I am unable to copy a *.wmv file of approximatly 500mb to my sd card w/out ActiveSync dropping a connection.

The same problem occurs when I sync music, but I just restart the process and it works fine because the files are not larger than 3mb. The problem seem to be related to large amounts of data being moved from the desktop to the Pocket PC via USB.

Anybody have any suggestions?

An easy way around the problem is to use a card reader, but that's no solution to the problem itself though...

I had a similar thing happen with me. I found that if you change your USB mode to RNDIS that my large files would then sync.

This can be done by going to Start, Settings, Accessory, USBSwitch. If you don't find it there, it can be found under Settings, Connections, USB.

You may have to reboot your PPC by removing the battery to make this work.

thank you so much! Finally got it working after days of searching. Had to ued the G4 version of the ROM not the button one though.

Anyone kw where I can find a WM6 ROM, tried the faria version, still not
working.
