You and me both lost8125,

i have only recently got my MDA Vario, i wasnt do bothered about the camera as i dont use it that oftern but when i decided to take a look i liked the fuctions of it

i liked the camera picture themes, unfortanily tho they are abit boring so i decided why not make my own gif files, i thought all i got to do is put them in My Documents/Themplates and thats it but, they do not work i have searched endlessly to find away of getting it to work. i also noticed that its not easy to find them on the web either, now i managed to get 4 of them which are pretty kool but they say demo plastered on it, which is no good

if i find away i will let u know

Okay after spending lots of time trying to figure out when you can just use a normal GIF file as a ptheme picture i have come up with some intresting things.

I noticed that the resalution needs to be 96dpi and the bit depth needs to be 32, once you have this done your on ya way to creating one

please remember that you also need 3 frames with the same image in each one.

once you have done this you need to set the repeat rate at 1, you also need to make sure interlace is selected and that the option for remove unused colours is not selected, also make sure you set your transparentcy to index transparentcy. also make sure auto crop and auto differance is switched off

once all this is done u should be able to select your picture as a template to use

how ever i have found that everything is transparant and no matter what i select to do with transparancy it doesnt show the colours at all, you can only see a faint outline of your image on the screen.

to view an example click the link below (Opens In A New Window):
Example

As you can see from the example it doesnt seem to work that well, thats the best i chould come up with for now as soon as i figure a better way i will let ya know

If anybody knows how to make this any better or has any suggestions let me know

Hi, thank you for putting a lot of your time trying to figure out how to do it, I've been racking my brains and I still can't seem to figure it out. I tried clicking on your "guide" link but it doesn't seem to work. Is there any way you can email or send me a new link? Thanks!
