I did some research on the issues and I have found that several other users are commenting on the same issue. Cingular 8125 does not normaly support this function because it does not have "Streaming bluetooth"

However... when i found this site http://www.htcwiki.com/wiki/htcwiki/page/8125+Tips+&+Tricks/thread/326043/Bluetooth+headset+for+mp3+playback/post/626803/RE:++Bluetooth+headset+for+mp3+playback?offset=20&maxResults=20

And read thru I found that several people were complaing about the same issues as you are. They have senice refferened another site and a program called BTAudio.

BT Audio site http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-bluetooth-audio-v1-0.html

It is free and should make use of the BT streo headset, however some users do comment its not perfect and does have some smaller issues like dropping connections, but its worth a shot and good luck!

Thank you for your help. It was late before I saw your email. I'll try it in the morning & let you know how it turned out. You know,I've been with Cingular since 98,but rarely get any help from them. Good thing, what you guys are doin. Appreciate it,very much! TKS

I am very intrested in hearing how it truned out. I just ordered the exact same headset from amazon.com a few days ago, and in my research everyone said it couldn't be done.... so I would love to see this working. Just be sure when you do download BTAudio you get the microsoft framework as well. The required link is on the BTAudio site

here you go, just install this cab for a2dp... the other things you saw where improvement hacks, and those are only needed if you have choppy or skipping issues with your stereo headset, most commonly with the moto HT820

He attached this file....

It’s a great app... Works amazing on my 8125 & Jabra 620s

I did a search to pair the headset to phone; the phone found it with ease and asked if it was a "Stereo Headset", after clicking next I was listening to my music through "Pocket Music - IN STERO"

Only thing I find that’s somewhat annoying is the system sounds sound scratchy. I assume this is because they are in mono recording format. I just disabled all clicks / beeps and I am happy.

The phone rings while i am listening to music and as mentioned the music fades off the phone rings and you can answer it with a tap of the left ear piece. However, since the 8125 does not support AVRCP (which enables the headphones play/pause/stop/next/previous functions) you can not control the audio with out opening the phone, slightly annoying, but hell their wireless and work flawless.

I am currently researching a hack or mod for the AVRCP if anything comes up I will be sure to post.

first, thanks for your recent help with the download.after i downloaded it onto my phone,a new option showed up in my bluetooth menu, allowing me to check stereo headphones, before i only had options for hands free.but when i push the left side button to activate,no sound comes thru.before i would get a moment of music, followed by a picture of a microphone asking me to speak after the beep.also, now i seem to have avrcp,or at least my controls on my headphones do control my media player.did i do something wrong?or is there something else i need to do after installing the download?thanks for all that you've already done, hope to hear from you soon...

PS: when i have the hands free option checked, and push the left hand button to start the music,i still get the picture of the microphone followed by a message asking me to speak after the beep.i guess i just need to know how to set up my phone after installation, what to do next...

ok,one more reply.never said i know alot bout computers. but i turned my 8125 off, then back on,my a2dp works fine. a skip in sound a couple times, but very seldom. i also have some avrcp features. can answer/end calls with center button on left. volume controls work fine. no play/pause/stop with center button on right tho,but can skip forward and back with songs using the proper buttons. but cant fastforward or rewind thru songs with those buttons, but believe i am supposed to. ben trying since september to get the headphones working, but you guys got it done for me in days. thanks, appreciate it. sounds good.xda-developers had a download months ago that was supposed to have alota x-tra features.ringtones, themes, softkey features.said it made toast, but not waffles(yet).but i'd get a 'cannot connect under current settings' when i'd try to download it...the entire time i've been writing this i've not had one glitch in sound, and have been skipping thru songs with no problem.thanks again. tks

I corrected my issues and posted a nice walk through with easy on screen instructions and noticeable glitches I found with the device. Visit the forum below.
