I can carry on a conversation thru the wireless headphones, but when I try to listen to music by tapping the side button-the phone thinks that I am trying to make a voice call. Is there a way to disable the voice dialing?

Have you verified that your 8125 is running the latest version of the OS so that it supports A2DP and AVRCP?

See the note in my blog about how I had to upgrade mine. But I'm on T-Mobile.

There is a search function on this site that is very useful. So please make a note of it.

The above link is exactly what your trying to do... as far as disable voice dial there are tweak utilities available to reaffirm the buttons of your phone. Try this link for that http://www.htcwizardweb.net/node/579

Yes you can!
Under your settings personal windows when you select the buttons icon there are two options to set.
1 Select the button you want to change.
2 Assign the program to the button.

Then select the lock tab and lock all buttons except the power button.
Viola

If your wanting to change the buttons on the physical headphones your most likely out of luck maybe someone one day will come up with a program to read and change Bluetooth buttons, but as of right now there is nothing on the market for it..

Sorry for so many answers, I am unclear as to exactly what your trying to do.
