*HELP WM 6 rom

...So i found out some guy made the Windows mobile 6 rom for HTC Universal devices and i couldn't sleep searching one for the Wizard... can't find it anywhere(i know its not officially released :-D). So i figured this would the right place to address this... so is someone working on it?... im not a genious but im pretty good at downloading :-D... anytime... today.

* This is a life and death situation... PLEASE HELP PPLE.

as it's not released yet, all the roms I'm aware of have BIG bugs, most of the software writers in forums advise against it

I found a WM6 rom for the wazard, ended up having to have the phone sent into HTC because it completly f-ed the rom up and I was unable to get it to respond back...

I got a 3 color screen and it would no longer see the USB connection

I would not do this if I were you.

Sorry bout ur phone... but I installed WM6 rom(Pdaviet3) two weeks ago n it runs perfect... i ran into the same thing 3months ago when i first flashed my rom, but with some reading n searching on http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=248 i was able to established a connection with my usb (U press n hold the voice speed dial button n press reset @ the same time)... If u press n hold comm manager button and voice speed dial button then press reset it will hard reset a phone

i've tried 6 different wm6 roms in the last week and now i am back on superrom1.1. for me the biggest problem was that the AKU (3.0 3.3 etc) was not supported by SPB (I use spbtime alot) wm6 looks nice, buts that's about all that's any good on it for me

I found some roms but cant get theme to work!?

Hi i found thise romz @ rapidshare but i cant get theme to work is there a tutorial every time i want to update my rom the program says error [300] get a newer updating system. and then i restart my t-mobile mda and nothing happend what do i do wrong or do i need to do first? some kind of unlocking or something? is there a tutorial or something like that? hope you can help me!

I found out that error 300 means i have the wrong RUU update program. but i dont have a clue where i can find a difrend one.... please help!

if you go to xda developers, you will see lots of discussion regarding ms making them stop hosting rom downloads or posting links to roms.
this is all because people such as yourself or the earlier response in this thread, have tried to flash a diffrent rom without having any idea how to do it, you then think the phone is broken ( it isn't ) and send it back to the retailer with a voided warranty.
many people who read the instructions on this site are understandably angry.
most phones are sim locked
ALL phones are CID locked, meaning you CAN NOT run any rom not made by the retailer you bought it from, if you are lucky it does nothing or you get stuck in bootloader screen ( three colours )

Actually there are lots of cooked wm6 ROM for HTC Wizard.
I am running Fario Crossbow version for over two months now, and still encounters no problem at all.
IMHO, my wizard runs slightly faster than before (my subjective opinion).

I also run WA2 from lakeridge software, SPB mobile shell, spb time, spb weather, loads of games etc, and everything runs no problem.

Find the info on xda-developers.com, but make you READ all the tutorials and guides there to avoid turning your device into a brick.
The one thing most important to check is your IPL and SPL, to determine if you have a G3 or G4 device. Read there on how to do it. If you have a G4 (like mine), then you're good to go. Another alternative is to find ROM Kicthen (also there) and cook your own ROM.
Also check whether your phone is CID locked. Mine is not locked, so it's simpler for me :)

Good luck, but remember that flashing VOIDS your warranty, so read every step carefully! :x
