Skype for slow CPUs

Just released, a new beta of Skype for WM5 on PPCs with slow CPUs (like the Wizard). While the previous slow CPU version only worked properly on overclocked Wizards (with OmapClock or BatteryStatus). This one, however, also works decently on 195 MHz. Nevertheless, the sound is more fluid if the CPU is overclocked a little. BatteryStatus chooses 247 MHz if you let it determine the speed automatically.

New features are

  • Can be controlled without a stylus
  • Includes a Today plugin
  • Can be configured to connect only over WiFi.

I love it!

Works great for the most part, love the wifi only option, but I can't hear callers, they hear me perfectly, any suggestions? Had the same issue with the previous version

How do you listen to callers? Keep in mind that only the phone application has access tot the earpiece. All other programs output their sound tot the build-in speakers, headphones or (with the BT redirect proggie) a BT-headset.
