My total commander often causes a gwes.exe failure if i enter a / for a \. but that was just the beginning. i waded through that. now i'm on resco, and even with it.. my goal is just not obtained. i would like to use my wizard, and either file explorer, total commander, resco, or any other freebie to access my computer, via wifi. this shouldn't be that difficult, right? The Damned ERROR 53. now i've researched this error, with many others, and any help that total command or resco could offer. they all dance around the topic, but never hit the nail on the head. what is this error? on resco i can see the computer....it actually searches for them. but once it appears, and i attempt to expand it....you'll get an error about the network administrator. you can enter a computer name and "disk" as it's called manually ... that's when you get good old ERROR 53. i have tried disabling many different forms of security; firewall, WPA on the wifi.. i even attempted to configure the firewall on the linksys router. i'm soo close to being able to skip file transfer via that horridly slow usb 2.0 cable. i think. or will anyone even respond? maybe someone can point to a solution from 1932 that i just didn't know about. help
