I just recently got the cingular 8125. Wonderful phone, but I bought it unlocked and I have t-mobile on there and I'm wonderin if anybody knows how I can get my t-mail on here....and also, I am having one other problem. Whenever I try to download apps that are designed to go on pocketpcs, when I click to install them, it says its not a pocketpc application n won't let me. The only tweakin I,'ve done is total commander. Somebody help me please.

I believe t-mail is for the Sidekick only, so you won't be able to access it from your 8125. When I switched from my SK2 to my MDA my t-mail account was one of the things I lost (the only thing I really cared about to be honest). You'll have to switch to a new email account more than likely.

Just wanted to drop in some additional information on this topic.

I own a Cing 8125 that I unlocked and use with my T-Mobile account. I had all kinds of hard to explain issues, especially with connecting to the data network.

I flashed my 8125 with an MDA Rom and everything works great. It solved every glitch I was having with the network.

I don't know if this will help you at all, just know it's a way to solve some wierdness, should it crop up.

Good Luck!!

Regarding the apps your trying to install- you can only install extension *.CAB from within win mobile. *.EXE you have to install from your desktop pc during an active sync session.

Unlikely, but might also be that the file you downloaded were saved with an invalid extension, where you'll have to figure out what it should be(eg. *.cab; *.exe; *.zip; *.rar). But like I said, this is unlikely.

Does this work? I can't do the same thing with mine. I tried everything though. I still can't get it to work, which is why I am considering selling my phone. I'm not much a techie anyhow, but I'll try the suggestions listed here. Thanks for the info!

If you are asking if Tmobile Roms work on the Cingular 8125, the answer is yes.

My current phone is a Cingular 8125 that I have flashed with a TMo Rom and run on TMo service.
