Hi everyone,
As you can guess I just joined, and thought that I would ask for some help. I have a HTC TyTN rebaged as DOPOD. The phoe works well, but I am having an issue with the Windows media player.
I copy the music across via WMP on the PC to the phone storage card, I then update the library, but when I try to play some music it keeps coming up with a warning that "An unexpected error occured", and I can't play music.

I have accessed the music via file manager, and it plays from here OK, but only one song at a time. TCPM can play the music and so can pPod.

I have tried deleting all the music and trying again, have tried copying MP3 files across via Explore, but all with no luck.

Any chance one of the experts here can advise?

Thanks
Karl

First try to send your mp3 files with the activesync or Windows Vista Sync to your phone or memory card.
I used to have the same problem the TCMP and other players recognize my mp3 list but the WMP doesn´t, when i updated the library it stand stoped. So I noticed something maybe in betwen your mp3 files there is a file corrupted and it makes "An unexpected error"
