New Email Alert

I have a 8125 and have successfully installed and sync with Cingular's XpressMail PE client.
This is a push client and works well.
The problem is that when new messages arrive the only notifications I get are "unread messages" line alert and the screen lights up.

I there a setting to buzz when ANY new message arrives

Start -> Settings -> Personal (tab) -> Sounds & Notifications -> Notifications (tab) -> Event: (drop down) -> Messaging: New e-mail message

Check Play sound and select from drop down a sound to play.

Still no notification

Even with the correct settings (as described above), I still don't get alerts all the time when I have new email. Really frustrating.

No buzz when sms arrives

Same here. Alhough I specified I want the device to vibrate when a new text message arrives, it doesn't. Very annoying!

All the other things, it does. It plays the right sound, displays the message on screen, and flashes the status light orange.

And the funny thing is, I do remember that earlier it did buzz when receiving an sms...

Hi,

I've got the same problem - all notifications work (noise and buzz) EXCEPT new email - and that's the most important for me.

Has anyone got a fix for this?
