UK Mobile Phone Service Providers
In the UK are five major mobile phone service providers. These are:
O2
Vodaphone
Orange
T-Mobile

I believe Vodaphone is the oldest mobile network in the UK, followed closely by O2 (as was Cellnet, then BT Genie, then O2) and use the 900Mhz band, while Orange and T-Mobile (as was One2One) come third and fourth, using the the 1800Mhz band. Lastly is 3, which is another Hutchinson Telecom started company, selling only 3G telephones.
