Better file browsing on your HTC Wizard

The standard file browser in PPC applications only shows you a small selection of directories, it does not allow you to browse the entire internal storage and storage on your Memory Card. That isn’t really helpfull if you for example want to send someone a e-mail with a attachement that you have stored in a non-standard directory. This tweak solves that, by activating an alternative file browser you can freely browse your entire directory structure. Now go to the Start Menu, Settings and System. You will find a new menu item called File Dialog Changer. When you open it, you can enable the alternative file dialog by ticking the box. In the same screen you can add applications to the exception list. Those applications will use the standard file dialog. From now on, when you for example want to attach a file to an e-mail, you will be able to select it from the entire file tree on your HTC Wizard, instead of only being able to browse a pre-selected set of directories.

Send files over Bluetooth from your HTC Wizard

People send files from one mobile phone to another over Bluetooth all the time. On the HTC Wizard the method to do this is not too obvious. A short explanation: [adsense:300x250:3:3]
• Enable Bluetooth on the receiving device and on your HTC Wizard
• Use File Explorer to browse to the directory that contains the file you want to transfer
• Tap and hold the file, and select Beam File...
A new screen will pop up with the Infrared option, and the word searching under it. Upon discovery of the receiving device, its name will appear as the second option. Select it and the transfer will start. You may have to confirm that you want to receive the file on the receiving device.
