For Cingular customers who hate using the hacked, and very outdated, AIM 2.0 for Windows CE (start & taskbar on the bottom) or are upset about Agile no longer being free - Cingular and OZ Communications got together and released an instant messaging client for the Blackjack. Very similar to the T-Mobile MDA messaging client, it works for all other WM5 Cingular phones (Pocket PC and Smartphone). Pulled from a Blackjack, client works just the same except the main user interface is touch-less and sometimes has trouble adjusting to and from portrait/landscape (easily fixed by reverting to the previous window in the selected view and reselecting the desired menu/option/action). Besides a few minor annoyances, and every message counting towards a Text/IM Messaging, this client is one of the best messaging clients for Cingular customers. Also supports Windows Live (MSN) and Yahoo!

Cingular Data - Smartphone vs. Pocket PC

I was once a authorized distributor for Cingular/At&t, Verizon, Sprint, Nextel, T-Mobile, and all prepaid carriers. After talking to some of my old colleagues, I've realized that you can use Cingular Smartphone data ($19.99 and includes 200 text messages) with your Cingular 8125 instead of using the Cingular Pocket PC data ($39.99). Many of my old colleagues have activated Wizards, since March, with the Smartphone data and without any issues.
