new2city's blogAnyone interested in a good and working(it's getting closer) A2DP on the wizard?Submitted by new2city on Tue, 12/12/2006 - 10:08. Announcements
Just wondering if any of you guys here are interested in wireless bluetooth music? Over at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=285419 they are working on replacing the dissappointing M$ bluetooth stack with Widcomm's impressive( I am listening to Christmas songs via A2DP now, without high pitch ringing on my Dopod 838 right now) bluetooth stack. Well, it is working partially now(still has memory leaks somewhere), but just keep an eye on this thread at XDA developers.. they will make it work properly one day... A Stylus Supplement to the Wizard's keyboard.Submitted by new2city on Tue, 05/09/2006 - 10:03. Software
I know we have a great keyboard for the Wizard, but sometimes, I just get to lazy to slide it out, turn the Wizard and start typing on the keyboard. Sometimes, it is just easier to slide out the stylus OR even just use my fingers.. Try Messagease, a really great software. With Messagease, we can write using strokes and taps instead of just the usual taps on tiny keyboards. Instead of the usual qwerty arrangements of other thumb tools like TenGo, we know have basically, 18 buttons(9 for the alphabet and 9 for symbols), plus some space/backspace buttons, which are large. With the latest version, there is even an option to make the buttons thumb size!! 2 comments | read more | 1552 reads
Switch to aacplus to save spaceSubmitted by new2city on Fri, 25/08/2006 - 07:19. Accessories
Hello all, Been a wizard owner for almost 2 months now, mine is a Dopod838. Enjoying the experience with all the suggestions I got from this site and the XDA developer forums as well. Anyway, just in case you didn't know, the wizard by Dopod supports AAC and I found that it is also supports ACC plus SBR(don't ask me to explain as I am no expert). Sure, with the supplied WMP plays it is mono but with TCPMP player(with aac plugin), who needs WMP. 12 comments | read more | 3646 reads
