Hi, I've had this phone for over a year and I'm more than pleased with this phone. I often said that if this phone had GPS and FM tuner, it would be the phone of the rest of my life.

Since I've abadoned my search for the perfect phone considering I already had it, I surprisingly came by chance to see an article of the new Artemis. I was amazed!! I think it's what I've always wanted, decent camera, PDA WM5, WiFi, bluetooth, FM tuner, and the star... GPS!

I live in Argentina, where there is no such thing as data plans, and data sent/recieved is charged by the byte. Everytime I finish browsing the internet trough WiFi the #$%&@%& phone starts connecting to my carrier. I tried changing the connection to "anynumber" but the phone recogniced that no modem was answering so it went back to default settings. Now it dials the Cingular Number (In the US!!!) and I keep being charged for this as an intl' call!!

I can't figure it out! I've read XDA entire search on "splash screen", downloaded almost every software available, and I still can't change my splash screen! If someone could tell me if there is any lock to be removed that I´m not aware of before attempting to change it, I'd be sincerely greatful.

There is a couple of issues I cant seem to find info on either:

1) If I hard reset, will the splash screen remain the same?
