It works as a stand alone player and is recognized as soon as you open a youtube video from its site.. I have used the v-tap program but I found this way better. One main seller is its free you cant beat that! But one thing I do suggest is to make sure you have some sort of unlimited data plan through your service provider otherwise it will become pretty costly.
